Murray Ballard (Brighton, England, 1983) graduated from the University of Brighton in 2007 with a First Class degree in Editorial Photography. In June 2008 he was selected by The Photographers Gallery, London for their fresh faced and wild eyed 08 exhibition, a showcase of the most dynamic new work by visual arts graduates across the UK. His work has also been shown at the Host Gallery, London and Impressions Gallery, Bradford. His photography has been published in numerous newspapers and magazines, including: The Guardian, GEO and IL - Intelligence in Lifestyle, as well as the photography journals, 8 and YVI. Recently he was the recipient of a Kodak Film Grant and won the 2nd Reviewer Prize at FotoBook Festival, Kassel, Germany.
